Officer shot and killed

We're not a large community here, we're a small town, so something like this really hurts. Tomorrow I'll be attending the funeral, because my boyfriend being a firefighter for our community will be there in full uniform with the fire trucks representing all of us. I hate funerals and havent been to one since my dad died. I may change my mind and not go. I won't know until tomorrow really. His wife and 2 children will be there, they're pain so evident in their faces...

I just really hate funerals.
