Job searching and all it's glory

I was at a job interview today - again - and had originally filed my resume with them for a full time salary position. Arriving there and speaking with my interviewer I found they were offering me a position that was part time and only paid $7.00 an hour. I was incredulous! Does a college degree mean anything anymore here? How are people - adults - suppose to live on that? Pay bills, buy food, raise families? The frustrating thing though is that this was for a company that caters to the rich and yes - famous on an island off the NC coast. Yet they pay their employees like we're a 3rd world country. Eventually we will all be just like the people of Indonesia and Malaysia who cater to rich Americans and Europeans who vacation there, while they all go home to their 2 room huts.

Welcome to America folks.

So I already have a part time job, that pays about as much as the above mentioned company has offered me, and the bonus of staying with the place I am presently at is - I get to verbally abuse the customers!

Last Friday a guy comes in, wants me to show him this and that, doesnt really know what he wants and I have other customers, so when he gets a bit pissy with me I told him I wasn't paid enough to wait on him hand and foot. He blinked and then started laughing. And thats how it normally goes there, so why would I leave one low paying job that I get to be abusive in, for another where I'd have to take the bullshit the rich and snobbish are so good at dishing out?

Welp... time for CSI

That's my next plan... I think I'd be a great bartender! But only on weekends, I want to make some money!
